This site contains stories from some of my past bicycling travels around
The new trip, commencing October 2010, from Melbourne to Broome via Alice Springs to promote the Freedom Wheels project for children with disabilities is in the process of being documented here Onyabike 2010.
For anyone contemplating setting out on a similar cycling journey I trust these sites will prove useful and hopefully this current trip will help raise some funds for Freedom Wheels - a TAD project to modify bicycles for use by little people with disabilities.
I am always keen to talk to local support groups or the media about the Freedom Wheels project or the experience of cancer and disability or even just about the funnier or more dramatic aspects of the cycling adventures documented here . If you can helpat all please contact me by email at steve@onyabike.org and please consider contributing to the Freedom Wheels Project - for more information about the project select the relevant links at Onyabike 2010. If you would like to follow all the daily posts select the blog tab at the top of this site or to browse posts only relating to a particular geographic part of the trip select from the categories list on the right. This site is moderated and new comments may take a few days before they appear.
If you would like to know more about the cyclist check out the biography page.
